What Are Kettlebells?

Kettlebells can most easily be described as a cannonball with a handle on it. They are just like a normal weight you find at the gym with a few exceptions. By having the weight displaced from the handle, it becomes a more dynamic tool that requires coordination, strength and stability. During kettlebell exercises, the bell moves with, and around, your hand making it a dynamic, and live weight.

Kettlebells have been used for hundreds of years in Russia and are slowly making their way into mainstream fitness. They are the training method of choice for most martial artists due to their amazing ability of training power in the body.
